My Story...

Organized by Kam is a professional organization business with the goal of helping people simplify and organize their lives, homes, and office/businesses. I love to work with others to help them reach their goals for a more simplified and stress free life. I received a Bachelors Degree in Applied Engineering Sciences with a Minor in Supply Chain Management in 2008. Over the last 10 years, I have gained Supply Chain experience from three Fortune 500 companies by working with highly diverse personalities. Utilizing my love for time management and organization allowed me to be the lead on multiple projects, liaison, and creator of multiple task trackers and databases. About two years ago, when I was trying to figure out being a wife, a new mom to a beautiful little girl, and a corporate woman, I came to the realization that going to the corporate world everyday was no longer fulfilling for me. Also, my life was no longer managed and under control, it was a “beautiful mess” (as my sister refers to it). I didn’t have the bills paid weeks in advanced, meals weren’t being planned out before grocery shopping, and I was drowning in “stuff” in every room of my home. I was holding on to the life that I once had before we had so many distractions and responsibilities and I felt like I was failing in every area of my life and wanted to run from it all. Then one day I woke up and realized that I was a total bad ass! I began to embrace my quirky ways and pulled the binders back out to do list and calendars again! I took back my home with all the free shopping apps and updated my meal planning templates and amazon subscriptions. Yes, I’m a nerd and I love it! The golden nugget here is, I have mastered these organizational techniques so that my clients don’t have to. My house may not be HGTV perfect anymore but home cooked meals are still coming out of my kitchen, I’ve implemented the daily routines and systems that work for us, my daughter is smart and loved and my husband and I are finally reconnecting again after adjusting to the challenges of welcoming a new little one into our home. Once again the key here is I want to help you find the systems that work for you! Not what the books say you need to do to get organized. Remember in life the mental changes always come before the physical. When I started focusing on my mental state I could then take the actions needed to destress my life, because I realized that I needed to set priorities and focus on the small wins- it wasn't all going to always get done and that was OK. I can juggle a lot more tasks at once than the average person and it isn't a fault, it is a gift that I wanted to share with the world. Now that I have every area of my life simplified and embracing the minimalism, I want to help my clients reach a better life for themselves and their families.
